Kyle Kemp

Director of Religious Education

Kyle comes to us from John XXIII Catholic Community where he has been the DRE for the last ten years. In addition, worked in catechetical ministries in Washington, DC, Los Angeles, CA, and Scottsdale, AZ. He has a Masters in Pastoral Studies from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and is certified as a Master Catechist. Prior to working for the Catholic Church, he was the manager of the internal reporting and merchandise statistics area for a west coast retailer.
Kyle is not a stranger to Aquinas Newman, having worshipped with the 4:30 community for the last five years and facilitated the Baptismal Preparation program for the last three. Kyle describes his ministry as assisting parish members to explore and deepen their relationship with Christ. His focus on families and adults is founded upon his belief that it is through their Christian witness and action that children and the community understand and learn what it means to live in Christ's love.
Kyle's wife (Marianne) and children (Elizabeth & Kathryn) are active in his ministry and are often seen assisting him in programs and activities.
He looks forward to getting to know, and working with the Aquinas Newman Center.
